mobileplace.info is committed to providing a safe, transparent, and trustworthy marketplace for buyers and sellers. We recognize that the sale of stolen goods not only harms buyers but also damages the integrity of our platform and exposes sellers and the company to legal consequences. To safeguard our community, Mobile Place strictly prohibits the sale of stolen or illegally acquired products. This policy outlines the rules, consequences, and responsibilities related to such activities, and it applies to all sellers who list or attempt to list products on our platform.
Sellers may only list items on mobileplace.info that they legally own or are authorized to sell. This includes goods obtained through lawful purchase, manufacturing, or authorized distribution channels. Any product that has been stolen, misappropriated, or otherwise obtained unlawfully is strictly prohibited from being listed or sold on our marketplace. Attempting to sell stolen property violates this policy, Indian law, and international trade regulations, and will result in immediate action against the seller.
Mobile Place reserves the right to investigate any listing, transaction, or seller account suspected of being associated with stolen property. This may include reviewing product descriptions, invoices, receipts, supply chain records, and other documentation. Sellers are required to cooperate fully with such investigations by providing proof of purchase or ownership when requested. Failure to provide adequate documentation will be treated as a violation of this policy. Mobile Place also reserves the right to use third-party verification tools and cooperate with law enforcement agencies to confirm whether an item has been reported as stolen.
If Mobile Place determines that a product is stolen or that a seller has failed to prove legitimate ownership, we will take strict enforcement actions without exception. These actions include:
These measures are necessary to protect the interests of our buyers and to uphold legal compliance.
Every seller on mobileplace.info has a duty to maintain a legitimate and verifiable supply chain. Before listing any product, sellers must ensure that it is legally acquired and that records of ownership, purchase, or distribution are available for verification. Sellers should maintain clear invoices, supplier agreements, or other supporting documentation for all products. Ignorance of the source of goods or inability to provide documentation will not be accepted as an excuse. By listing on mobileplace.info, sellers acknowledge their responsibility for the legality of their inventory.
mobileplace.info reserves the absolute right to remove listings, withhold payments, discard products, or terminate seller accounts at its sole discretion if any violation of this policy is detected. We may also share information with law enforcement agencies or cooperate in criminal investigations if necessary. Sellers should understand that participation in the marketplace is a privilege, not a right, and that Mobile Place has a legal and ethical obligation to protect buyers and the wider community from harm.
Sellers who believe their product has been wrongly classified as stolen may submit an appeal. Appeals must include verifiable documentation proving legitimate ownership of the item, such as original purchase receipts, supplier invoices, or manufacturer authorization letters. All appeals will be reviewed carefully by Mobile Place’s compliance team, but the platform reserves the final right to accept or reject the appeal. If an appeal is rejected, the decision will be binding, and no further recourse will be provided within the platform.
Selling stolen goods is a criminal offense under Indian law, including provisions of the Indian Penal Code relating to theft, cheating, and handling stolen property. Sellers engaging in such activities may face prosecution, fines, or imprisonment. mobileplace.info may report confirmed cases of stolen goods to law enforcement agencies and provide them with all relevant seller and transaction details. By using our platform, sellers acknowledge that they are fully responsible for their actions and accept all legal consequences that may arise from policy violations.
This policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary to remain compliant with legal requirements and industry best practices. mobileplace.info reserves the right to amend, expand, or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Sellers are responsible for reviewing the most recent version of the policy regularly to ensure compliance. Continued use of mobileplace.info after updates to the policy constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
